This Web Standards Awards thing is a great idea - a monthly award for a standards-compliant website. Resources like Scriv's CSS Vault are great for developer-types but there is a real need for a site showcasing the absolute cream of real-world designs. Up until now, the only site I feel is consistently good enough to direct people to as an introduction to CSS is the Zen Garden. As long as the high standard is maintained (and I'm sure it will be, given the reputation of the judges), this will be a great contribution to the cause.
